What do I need to do before I come to record?
Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. Know the material that you want to record and think about extra things you can "add in" later. Know the songs, know what you want, and practice with the Click Track.
Q: What is a Click Track and why do I need it?
A Click Track is just that, a metronome or midi file that has the basics of the song that you play along with. It keeps you in time and gives you an ultimately more professional recording. The best thing is to make one yourself, if not I can make one and send it to you to practice with.
Q: Do you have Auto-Tune, what is it, and isn't that cheating?

Auto-Tune is one of the many tools that we have in the studio to help you sound your best. It detects the pitch of a sound, lets you enter in a range of pitch's you will allow, and it fits them the best it can to those pitch's. This can help you sing more on pitch and adds a certain "polished" feel to a sound.

One of the great debates in the audio world is the overuse of Auto-Tune. People with no talent can use this tool and sound much better than they actually do. We use this tool in the studio when it is necessary and as in any decision if the client likes it then we use it, if not there are other ways to fix things in the studio. It's not cheating, just using the tools that we have.

Q: How much will it cost to record?

We can work with almost any budget to get a recording of what you are doing to you. For the quality of the A Cappella songs under the Portfolio section of the website you will be looking at 10-20 hours per song from start to finish.

We also specialize in acoustic artists and recording. If you are working on a album with just guitar, vocals, and harmony you can expect to spend about 4 hours per song from start to finish.

These numbers above are general and will give you an idea of how much it costs to record. Your best bet is to talk to Brian about what you would like out of your project, your budget, and he will work wih you

Q: Q: Can I track with you and mix/master elsewhere?
While we can handle your project from start to finish, sometimes its good to mix/master somewhere else. Our studio utilizes Digital Performer 4 which is totally Pro-Tools compatible and will allow you to take your project to another studio without any problem. We can also mix and master songs you have tracked elsewhere.
Q: My question isn't here, what should I do?
